今天台灣分校來了兩位GIA總部高階主管：全球教學部門資深主管Sam Kong先生與副校長兼GIA G&G季刊雜誌總編輯Duncan Pay先生。他們目前正在走訪全球各分校，任務之一是了解GIA總部能如何跟各地校友會共同合作，持續推廣更新的珠寶教育給畢業校友與業界人士。副校長更表示，未來會盡全力提供堅強的講座師資，也會為廣大校友們設計專屬的紀念品與陳列小物，並提供國際間校友網路溝通平台。感謝台灣分校Vivian王總監邀請本會林志達理事長和幹部參與討論。希望這次的交流，能在不久的將來得到收穫！
Visiting GIA Taiwan earlier today were two senior officers from the headquarter: Senior Director of Global Education Leadership Sam Kong and VP/Chief Academic Officer Duncan Pay, who also serves as the editor-in-chief of GIA’s quarterly journal Gems & Gemology. They are touring campuses the world over to find out how GIA can work with alumni chapters to promote continuing jewelry and gem education. A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to Vivian Wang, Director of GIA Taiwan, for inviting GIA-AATC’s officers led by our Chapter President Chi-Ta “Joe” Lin to participate in this exciting discussion. We hope to reap the benefits from this encounter in the near future!
